Eoly Energy, Aspiravi NV and Storm are looking into the possibility of co-developing a wind farm along the E40 motorway (between the Nieuwpoort and Oostduinkerke junctions) and the Veurne-Nieuwpoort channel. The project is currently only in the exploratory phase. Certain spatial and environmental aspects require further research. The plan is to build 18 wind turbines with a capacity of 5,6 MW each – enough to provide 81.200 families with green energy for an entire year.  

In 2014, we built what was then one of the most powerful wind turbines in existence in Belgium, along the E42 motorway in Spy.

This wind turbine will be built on land owned by BelOrta SCRL/CVBA, a Colruyt Group supplier.

To power Colruyt Group’s Lot business park with renewable energy, we have built two wind turbines on-site.

In Bassilly, Eoly Energy has applied for a four-turbine wind farm to provide local green power to the neighborhood.

Eoly Energy is planning to construct a wind farm in Sovet (near Ciney), both along and east of the E411.

The wind turbine planned by Eoly Energy in the Seneffe industrial zone is part of a requested project of 6 wind turbines.

Eoly Energy plans the construction of 3 wind turbines, along the E34 in Oud-Turnhout, in cooperation with water company Pidpa.

Eoly’s wind turbine in Ghislenghien supplies electricity directly to Colruyt Group’s nearby distribution centre.

Eoly is planning a seven-turbine wind farm along the Brussels-Charleroi canal, near the inclined plane of Ronquières. Three of the turbines will be located in Braine-le-Comte, with the remaining four in Seneffe. The combination of the canal and the inclined plane create the perfect conditions for a wind farm. Moreover, site is located at a fair distance from nearby homes. Together, these seven turbines will provide enough green energy to power around 18,000 households for a whole year.

Eoly Energy is planning to erect a wind turbine in an industrial area to the north-east of Zele.

The Brussels-Charleroi canal is the perfect spot for some fresh air, especially for wind turbines. Since late 2015, three turbines have been in operation along the canal, two owned by Ecopower, the other by Eoly Energy.

Eoly plans the construction of 3 wind turbines in Frasnes-lez-Anvaing reaching 150m high and providing enough green electricity for 6900 families annually.

Eoly Energy is building an extension of the Lessines/Silly wind farm with 5 wind turbines of which one for Eoly Cooperative and one for the Clef cooperative.

In 2016 kreeg het Colruyt Group-bedrijventerrein Stroppen er een windturbine bij. De energie wordt lokaal verbruikt.

In 2010, following Dassenveld in Halle and Ghislenghien, we decided to build a third wind farm in Ypres. The farm features nine turbines, two of which belong to Eoly Energy. 

Together with Engie, we are planning the construction of 3 wind turbines in the industrial park south of Nivelles. Industrial parks are prime territory for wind turbines.

Our first turbine, built when Eoly Energy was still part of Colruyt Group, is a proud feature of Halle's skyline.

The farm, which has been operating since late 2020, produces enough green energy to provide 1,500 households with electricity per year.

The first turbine built on Colruyt Group's site, has been operational since December 2016. It supplies power directly to the distribution center. Meanwhile, we have built 5 additional wind turbines on the site.
