The Brussels-Charleroi canal is the perfect spot for some fresh air, especially for wind turbines. Turbines are able to catch plenty of wind along the channel, while seamlessly blending into the surroundings. Since late 2015, three turbines have been in operation along the canal, two owned by Ecopower, the other by Eoly Energy. Our wind turbine produces 3.873 Wh of green energy per year, which means 1,766 fewer tonnes of CO2.
